God judges by a different system from ours. We look only at the outward
appearance, but God looks on the heart. Sometimes God’s system looks strange to us, because the system of the world is entirely different. No one can ever earn or merit God’s grace or favor- that is the bad news of the
gospel. As we accept God’s grace for free, today we are enabled to find that the bad news of the gospel is really good news, after all.
